ColorSnap® Visualizer App Reviews

The biggest challenge with online paint searching is that, when you get to a store and see an actual color swatch it looks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what appears on ones phone screen. Not only that, I was hoping to have access to loads of colors to explore, but I am unable to find anything that seems to be what I want. This app seems convenient, but dont be fooled. My best advice is to go to the store and get samples of actual paint. Then you will be sure to find what you need.

I was looking forward to to using this app for my new home. We painted with Sherwin Williams Adley grey. This color cannot be found in the app. Wondering why that is? I would love to be able to use this to help finish our color palate.

Just love this app so much. Have been all over the Internet looking for something like this when I came across Sherwin Williams online and dug around and seen this app. Took a chance to try it out and Im so happy I did!!!!

I love it that I can take a close up picture of my kitchen granite and then match the colors I pick out!

This app was extremely helpful in matching colors for our walls to different decorative accessories in our house. Worked great and looks fantastic!

So tried the app, doesnt match colors at all went into their store and asked a manager and he said "I was a fool for relying on this app". Im never ever gonna go buy paint from a company that wont stand behind the selling tools they put out there. I went to Home Depot and behr paint covers and its washable.

The app works pretty well for exploring colors until you take a picture and have it evaluate it because your phone cant read the colors the same. And they dont give you nearly enough information about each color - such as warm or cool, type of base, mixable/tintable. Its also hard to tell whether they are giving you interior or exterior color matches.

Will not ID color on the wall as the same color as applied to wall. Doesnt give same color twice in same spot. It will get you close enough to pick out colors on a chart. Easy to use and stable.

App crashes each time I try to use the photo tool.

I am unable to select my own colors and try them on my imported image. It only gives me a preselected pallet of colors to choose from. The editing process only allows me to delete it does not allow me to import my own colors:/

Not user friendly. I cant get the colors I pick to show up on the pictures of my room.

Not user friendly. Wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work and finally gave up.

I was able to select two Sherman Williams colors that would match my garage floor. I want the color on my garage walls to match or come close to the color I selected for my floor and it seems to work well but I would prefer to be able to see the color on my photo.

Im in the beginning stages of picking out interior & exterior colors for my new house. I guess I am not taking it as seriously as other reviewers and having a lot of fun!!

Unusable. The app crashes after only a few clicks in the interface.

App has crashed every time I open it. I am not interested in seeing the colors that the app picks up on my photo; I want to be able to apply YOUR colors to the photo so I can try out new colors!! You advertise that this app enables you to do this; if it does, how do you do it??

The commercial made it seem like I could take a pic of my room and it would simulate what different colors would look like on the walls. All it does is tell you what color your stuff already is. Pointless unless I need to repaint a small section?

Colors seem fairly accurate but its difficult to organize saved colors and to get colors next to each other for comparison.

As another reviewer stated the commercial claims that this app allows you to view your own picture with different colors. IT DOES NOT. Period. Totally useless waste of time.
